Mom, Cannon Beach, Oregon
She'd opine
She'd elucidate
She'd theorize
She'd assert
She'd take tangents
She'd synthesize concepts
She'd quote
She'd accurately remember
She'd wrongly remember
She'd build arguments
She'd sigh or roll eyes
She'd get angry at the world
She'd let it go
She'd appreciate a good time
She'd feed her family
She'd enjoy others hosting
She'd walk at her own speed
She'd laugh and smile
She'd play frisbee
She'd watch her granddaughters run
She'd help make Sandcastles
She'd bring the picnic and the towels and the sunscreen and the coffee thermos
She'd opine
She'd take pleasure in strangers
Especially at Cannon Beach
She felt home around the affluent beach
She'd talk if kite shopping
She'd rebel in small adventure
She'd talk of her mother and father
She'd hug her family close sandy or not when the sun went down
She'd love the movies in the motel
She loved going out for breakfast
She'd let me drive us home
She'd rarely be sad
She'd theorize and use her intellect
She'd mysticism about the unknown
She'd change the subject
She'd look lovingly at her granddaughters
She'd walk at her own tempo
She'd dress and put on makeup
She'd connect random ideas
She'd dream out loud
She'd write thank you notes when she was the generous
She'd acknowlede the way things are
She'd do anything she could
She'd marvel the beach and nature down to the seaweed and driftwood
She'd live forever in a shell humming
She'd give advice gently
She'd share stories and listen
She'd propose plans without being adamant
She'd point out beauty and suggest we go there
