There's a good painting. Sorry it's oriented wrong, I can't rotate it. The original is with the artist. They have a hundred as good or better. They're beyond talented but was never duly appreciated in sales or commissions. People liked inexpensive prints. Originality is over the heads of 99% of consumers in America what's not to like or want to support in a beautiful painting or young artist. In glad they didn't sell their paintings, or rarely sold them. They have them, just like my dad, who taught painting for 45 years still has his, the ones he hasn't burned with brush clippings and kerosene.
Hold on to your art. It's special. Hold on to your patrons. They come and go.
