It’s not meant to pay for new housing construction
nor for the cost of buying buildings to turn into housing."
Buy and convert Office space to Free Housing for qualified houseless and poverty level families.
Buy Motels.
Buy trailers and immediately help current houseless, residents houseless from Portland for over say 3 years, 5 years, 10, 20, 30 years.
There's Money but too many undecideds and lobbyists and vested interest.
Follow thru on the dozens of empty promises.
To hell with Sam Adams, Dan Ryan, Mayor Wheeler, Rene Gonzalez and the chamber of commerce, the Portland Business Alliance, People for Portland , Knight Schnitzer Goodman Boyle etc etc
To hell with Consultants pushing endless condo development.
Help the houseless immediately.
