‘It reminds you of a fascist state’: Smithsonian Institution braces for Trump rewrite of US history

____

#1 it reminds me that the most educated, distraught, privileged, effete, still shop at home by Amazon, still count on a pension that is funded by investment in oil, weapons, toxins, drive to Wal Mart, fly thousands of miles in planes to do menial errands or events, eat hundreds of pounds of animal flesh annually, don't even blink at the notion of Billionaires, people worth ten Billion, a hundred Billion dollars, several hundred Billion dollars, it reminds me that people starve to death every second, people "brace themselves" doing little to nothing, people imagine that Trump has a pen or Sharpie or pencil and is doing things himself, the convicted felon, not Big Oil, or Coal, or Catholic leaders and Baptists and Mormons, not the guy next door, the one you wave at in the driveway at church at the club at the ball game, you paid that football player $60 million a year to get your mind off Fascism, you paid you wrote the rewriting you'll turn on basketball of a movie or watch some golf porn cooking show and hope it blows over, you'll see a therapist or shrink or take some pills to get over Fascism anxiety

life isn't a free museum
the district of columbia doesn't have a vote or senator
that's beyond the pale you say

gradations of Fascism strike you as alarming?
where have you been, america

Sanders Hits Bloomberg With 'Grotesque' Statistic: Billionaire Owns More Wealth Than Bottom 125 Million Americans Combined

"That's wrong. That's immoral. That should not be the case when we got half a million people sleeping out on the street."

Bloomberg is again defending himself over the controversial stop and frisk policing policy after an audio clip of a 2015 speech came to light last week in which the former mayor argued one way to reduce violence was to throw minority kids “up against the walls and frisk them.”

Bloomberg has been repeatedly criticized over the controversial police practice of temporarily detaining, questioning and searching residents who were overwhelmingly black or Latino.

Bloomberg, one of the world's richest men, does have more wealth than roughly the bottom 125 million Americans.

• That said, the roughly 123 million Americans at the bottom of the wealth spectrum are collectively $44 billion in the red, so

 Bloomberg is not alone —

millions of Americans can also say they're

richer than more than 100 million Americans.
