The state pillow

  

'Nitrogen hypoxia involves forcing a prisoner to breathe nitrogen, and nitrogen alone, through an airtight gas mask. 

 The procedure leads to oxygen deprivation and death.

The four Nazi states that currently have nitrogen hypoxia on their books – Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Oklahoma – claim it is a quick and humane death.  

But when Alabama became the first state to carry out an execution using this method in January, witnesses recounted how the prisoner, Smith, writhed and convulsed on the gurney for several minutes."

Adept at torture for tortures sake 

But comfortable with optics 

Goose-stepping with their hero Nazis

Devoid of humanity but fully pensioned 

That's their pillow

Stuffed with carcinogenic callousness

Dining off the slaughterhouse carpet 

Wringing out the soul for the last drops of dominance 

Yes men minus accountability 

Less cognizant than newborn vultures or a pile of plastic 

But ravenous to hurry lest they awaken to breathless jesus in their plate glass numbed spectacle
