"Jessica Schleif, a local artist and dear friend of the band, and one of the uninsured millions in America, recently suffered a tragedy that left her with unmanageable medical debt. 

The Decemberists will play a sole concert this spring, A Benefit for Jessica Schleif, which will take place on Friday, April 30 at Liberty Theater in Astoria, OR (100 miles NW of Portland on the Oregon coast). 

The show features special guest Michael Hurley  (Dave Reish, Forest Bloodgood,)and will be hosted by Moe Bowstern.

 Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.  Floor and balcony tickets for this intimate event are $35 and will be available for purchase starting tomorrow, Friday, April 2 at 10am"
