castle

they came to my castle unwelcomed
in one sense, but not in the zillion others,
bringing uncertainty in boxes made by
children's toys amalgamated, they arrived
in box trucks unbeknownst to the maya,
they showed up where the consquidaros
first ate parrot, they banged their soft heels
on the sand across the dim waters of time,
they open handed knocked the cuckoo
breath out of his bill and gave it to wood,
they sheltered with no name tags all alone
in midst of a great forest abundant in empty
sound, they rode in on clouds and had
mist for beards curled into begging cups,
they built my castle long hence of gold
when all i wanted was soup kiss son&
love
